Consultant Psychiatry - Addiction

Job Summary

Management of treatment plans in all related sections of the N.R.C. Instructs and trains house staff, and interns in the general care of patients. Consultant psychiatrists are hoped to be competent clinicians who are experts in the delivery of patient care in addiction psychiatry primarily and in other psychiatric disorders and dual diagnosis. The purpose of the Job is to serve as a bridge between specialties during delivery of care and serve as an anchor for them in aftercare.

Job requirements

  • Medical degree holder with specialization in psychiatry
  • MD, medical board, or equivalent certifications in psychiatry
  • Current national license as a consultant psychiatrist
  • Fluency in English and Arabic languages is preferred

General Physician

Job Summary

GPs are responsible for diagnosing illness and recommending the required treatment for patients at the NRC and its facilities, while accounting for their physical, psychological, social and cultural factors. They are responsible for providing primary and continuing medical care for patients.

Job requirements

  • Mental health residence environment
  • Work may involve travel to patient homes, prisons and other healthcare organisations in the UAE
  • Current national license as GP
  • Fluency in English and Arabic languages is preferred

Nurse Section Manager -Inpatient

Job Summary

To manage nurses and ensure collaboration of all nurses with the multidisciplinary team, to deliver effective and efficient treatment plan for all NRC patients with behavioral science experience

Senior Clinical Psychologist

Job Summary

The senior Psychologist provides psychological assessments, evaluations, diagnostic impressions, and interventions across modalities. This would include but not limited to individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, and family intervention

Job requirements

  • PhD in clinical psychology
  • Current national license as Clinical Psychologist
  • Fluency in English and Arabic languages is preferred

Clinical Psychologist

Job Summary

Under general supervision, provides all types of psychological assessment, helps in diagnosis, and runs individual, group, and family therapy.

Job requirements

  • Master’s degree in clinical psychology
  • Current national license as Clinical Psychologist
  • Fluency in English and Arabic languages is preferred

Toxicology Technologist

Job Summary

The Toxicology Laboratory Technologist will be responsible for performing moderate to complicated tests in toxicology laboratory adhering to the guidelines of the organization

Job requirements

  • BSc in Toxicology, or Clinical Biochemistry, or Clinical Chemistry, or Forensic Sciences or any other equivalent Toxicology qualification OR BSc in Health-related field and MSc in Clinical Toxicology
  • Current International/National License for practice
  • Certification and experience in an internationally recognized organization is recommended
  • Fluency in English and Arabic languages is preferred

Senior Toxicology Technologist

Job Summary

The Senior Laboratory Technologist will be responsible for supervision, building, checking, testing and troubleshooting experimental/equipment adhering to the guidelines of the organization. In addition of coordination of laboratory activities: technical, computer and administrative services.

Job requirements

  • BSc in Toxicology or Clinical Biochemistry, or Clinical Chemistry, or Forensic Sciences or any other equivalent Toxicology qualification
  • Master’s in Clinical Biochemistry, or Clinical Chemistry, or Forensic Sciences or any other equivalent Toxicology qualification is preferred
  • Current International/National License
